These are
three Christmas stories that are sure to provide inspiration this
coming season.
A
Christmas Child by Carolyn Davidson: When Marianne Winters is
left an orphan along with her new born brother, she sets out to
begin a new life. At eighteen she’s old enough to have born the
child herself and when she arrives in Walnut Grove, MO, that’s what
everyone thinks, including the new preacher in town. It doesn’t
stop him from offering Christian charity, but will it stop him from
offering his heart.
The
Christmas Dove by Victorian Bylin: Maddie Cutler comes back to
her home town a fallen woman with a baby in her arms. The last
person she wants to see is Dylan McCall, the man she thought wasn’t
good enough for her. Dylan has made a decent life for himself and
there doesn’t seem to be any room in it for the woman she’s become.
Does Dylan have the capacity to forgive and more importantly, can
Maddie forgive herself.
A Baby
Blue Christmas by Cheryl St. John: After the loss of his wife
and child six years ago, Turner Price has become a man without
purpose, someone going through the motions. When he discovers the
two babes in his livery left by their mother, he immediately assumes
that Gabby Rawlins, the woman who magically appears at the barn, to
be the one who left them. Gabby doesn’t try to explain that she’s
been searching for her cousin who obviously bore the children and
ran. Turner offers the trio sanctuary but does he have anything
more to offer?
These
sweet tales of Christmas romance offer readers a return to simpler
times and a respite from the chaos of the holidays. With each story
featuring a birth to herald a new beginning, the characters have
their own struggles and challenges to meet as they discover the true
magic of Christmas. |
